Also, be sure to brush your teeth twice daily and floss at least once daily. If you have dentures, always make sure to remove them and clean them daily.

Try to avoid or limit medications that can contribute to dry mouth, which is a known cause of tooth decay end gum disease. Furthermore, regularly attend routine check-ups with your dentist. This includes bi-annual professional cleanings and oral cancer screenings.
